Brighter Days on the Horizon!

Today, I found myself actually WALKING QUICKLY through a room to go do something. I felt like my old self almost!

I was able to turn the key in the ignition, drive with BOTH HANDS, carry a bag with applesauce in it, hold a pan while scrubbing, and open the deck door. (It's a spring loaded lever type.) I don't have to keep it elevated at all. These are HUGE accomplishments. :)

Ladies, I think I'm about to move back into type A mode! Yippee! Hope that means you'll hear from me more often.  When I can get things done, I can do things to post about! :)

The cold is almost gone, and I've spent the day grading papers.   Suddenly, I'm seeing messes everywhere. Is it spring fever? I hope so!

Hope you are having a wonderful week too.

PS. And Yes..I CAN Hula Hoop!

Good for you. It has been a long road for you for sure. I am anxious to hear more about the move and the new job.
I am finally getting back to normal. My minor hand surgery and then being sick.
Ready to get busy.

Hi Donna,
I'm so sorry that I have not visited your lovely blog in a while. I have missed out on all your lovely photo's. So I'm now goin g to add you to my side bar so I can follow all your wonderful progress.
Last June, I fell in the garden and broke BOTH my wrist's. Landed on the cement patio tripping over the garden hose stopper. Not fun for sure. Had to have surgery in BOTH wrist's and plates and screws will be with me forever. Believe me when I say thank heaven for sisters...
My sister loves Biggest Loser and she is working on her goals too! She and I walk as often as time allows. And we both love to garden, so we all have a lot in common.
I'll be back to visit, and hope you wont be sick of hearing from me...LOL! I chatter away too much!
Have a great weekend,
~Shirley

Hi Donna. I hope you are better. I'm so sorry I have not been here but it's a back and forth commute for me to San Jose. I need to back track on what has happened in your life. I'm sorry you've been in pain. I'll be back, just going to read some of what you've posted. Take care.
