Introducing Cozi--The Best Family Planner Ever and It's Free!

Hey friends, if you've never heard of Cozi, you are in for a real treat!Cozi is the next best thing to sliced bread for the busy homemaker.

No, they aren't paying me a thing to promote them....I just LOVE it!! I had tried it a year ago or more and didn't have 'time' to work with it.  Now I regret that as I could have enjoyed the ease of getting things done months earlier!

I finally dropped by again, while hunting for a recipe and decided to give it one more go.  What does the program include? You'll be surprised at just how extensive the list of features is.

Little Miracles Mean Just As Much

Last week, while at the oil convention with Tim, I was sent on a 'mission' by Tim’s boss to  find a USB stick.  He needed it to give away some ‘free’ software to a potential client.  Finding a USB stick amongst the 100+ vendors who were giving away 'freebies' that day was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. And my feet were getting sore too…

But I dutifully headed off…breathing a little prayer that the Lord would guide me. (It’s still embarrassing for me to walk up to all these business types looking for goodies, however normal it might be…and it is of course.) I don’t really enjoy doing this.

Touring Historic and Romantic San Antonio

San Antonio is one of the loveliest places I've visited in a very long time.  It has everything I look for in a vacation spot...good food, comfortable lodgings, lush scenery, and intriguing historical buildings.

When it comes to architecture and history, I'm an addict..though not an informed one. :o) But the most important ingredient is to get to spend time with friends and family.   It got me to thinking about stress in our lives and how critical it is to keep it manageable for our health and our relationships.

If you've never been to San Antonio, be sure to read more. I've included lots of photos of truly amazing places to see.

Facing the Challenges of Restaurant Dining...in San Antonio!

Hi Friends, Greetings from San Antonio! We are having a lovely time here. I do hope your week has been fun too. :o)  We have been quite busy setting up the convention booth for the company my hubby works for. It's a group project for sure.  photo credit

But even with all the set up work, we've enjoyed many a walk on the river walk and have marveled the beautiful architecture. I hope to get some pictures while on 'the spouse's historic tour' on Tuesday to share with you. We've also dined in some simply fabulous restaurants! Ahhh..but therein lies a little problem...

A Busy Week: Remodeling, Wildfire Donation, Sewing, and Cooking Ahead

Hey folks, just wanted to check in with you all.  What a week!  It's been one of those VERY busy times for us. We've been taping and bedding seams in our bathroom, scrubbing grout at a friend's house and helping them move in, and we also had a family cold over labor day.  We've learned so much! How do you remodel mobile home walls so they look like real ones? It takes a LOT of WORK!

How to Make a Small Home Feel Truly Spacious

This has been my personal challenge for most of the last 25 years. Only once did we have what most people would call a 'large' home.  Lots of kitchen cabinets, two spacious living areas...it was a dream.  That dream lasted almost a year.

And then it was back to life as usual. But that's fine with me. I know you can fit into ANY size house if you really want to.  Th e hard part is just letting stuff go--especially furniture. For some reason, I really LOVE my stuff and this is a recipe for disaster.
