FlyLady Baby Steps to The Rescue!

Flylady to the rescue!
Today, I woke up and knew that it was time to get back to work.  The vacation is over and I need to carry on..with or without a working right hand.

Suddenly those baby steps to a clean home look a lot bigger...

(Meet Baby Lillie!)

Still... they are the only thing that makes sense in my situation.   I started to panic at the sight of all the mail and laundry  (try folding anything one-handed--Not!)..and unpacking.

Then I remembered that my morning routine was all I needed to worry about:
  • shower
  • devotions
  • a load of laundry
  • start the meat defrosting
  • keep the sink shiny
  • pick up for a few minutes
  • sweep
  •  take out the trash
  •  open a few bills
  • answer emails

We'll be just fine. This is do-able!

Now the real question is...can I still hula hoop???

Hope you are doing okay. Have the others help out for awhile. It's good that you were away because you wouldn't never have rested.
I am having very minor surgery on my hand Friday. I will think of you.

You are bringing back the bad memories of my holidays last year!!!! We would have made a great pair with orange and purple casts!! Hang in there, Donna. You are almost halfway there and everyting will wait for you to get that second arm.

Hope you are feeling better! I know some days feel more overwhelming then others trying to get things done. Hang in there, you're a super mom so I have no doubt you will keep up with your home :-)

Blessings,
Jill

Oh you have been a brave little lady with all that has been happening in your life. I am happy that you have had your blogger friends sending you healing thoughts and that your family has helped you so much. Take care Donna. Thinking of you.
